We provide a unique and first class decorative polished plastering service to the commercial sector. We also undertake residential work with beautiful effects, expensive looking finishes adding richness and unique character to your home.

Polished Plaster finish is available in an extensive range of colours. Suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms and kitchens it is, of course, water resistant and provides a beautiful and stunning alternative to tiles.

Keycoat use traditional Venetian Polished Plaster stucco systems such as Marmorino, Stucco Veneziano and Raffaello combined with modern specialist decorating techniques to provide contemporary wall and ceiling finishes. These finishes provide faux stone and marble like surface finishes.

The materials that we use - Grassello di calce (aged lime putty) - are produced by a small family run company in northern Italy. They have been producing high quality lime since the 1930's. The materials that they produce have been used in the restoration of many historic buildings in their area.

Polished plaster

Tiles in bathrooms and kitchens are quite common features but Polished plaster is also used in many commercial or residential settings. You might have heard about Polished plaster before and thought that this might be suitable for your home? Instead of sticking with tiles on new interior projects Polished plaster makes a handsome alternative. It might sound like it`s a new product but this type of plaster has been with us for some time. Way back in 900BC this type of material was first being made and used for decorative reasons. There are plenty of choices in this plaster range it all depends on the look that you want to achieve. From plaster that has a pitted appearance to create a natural look, to plaster that has the look of travertine tiles; it`s amazing what types of finish can be created with this substance. Designer bathrooms will look stunning when the Polished plaster is used and it won`t be affected by the water at all. Wax is used to protect areas that can get wet so that the plaster continually looks amazing all of the time. Tiles are nice enough but Polished plaster looks just as good, if not better than the more common types of surface products.

Stucco plaster

Why bother with tiresome tiles in your bathroom when it can look equally as good when Stucco plaster is applied to the walls. The finish of Stucco plaster is like a glossy marble look which gives the room a rich and luxurious appeal. Customers who choose to have Stucco plaster on their bathroom or kitchen walls know that when the job is finished they`ll have rooms that look magnificent. Polished Stucco plaster is used on many commercial properties in areas like washrooms or foyers. Due to its high quality appeal the Stucco plaster is in demand at the moment and companies who specialise in such services are constantly busy. That doesn`t mean to say that you won`t be able to pin one of the companies down to carry out some plaster work for you. It`s an experience watching the plasterers at work as they apply the Stucco plaster to the walls. It takes a number of layers to build up the finish and the end results are quite amazing. Commercial interiors will dazzle with delight when the Stucco plaster is applied. Domestic homes can have their kitchens and bathrooms enhanced when plaster of this high quality is applied to their walls

Venetian plaster

You tend to think of plastered walls as being perfect for paint and many modern homes incorporate these types of finishes within then. A smooth wall that`s been freshly plastered is like a blank canvas for the paintbrush. Are you aware of Venetian plaster though that doesn`t have to be painted at all? The reason it doesn`t have to be painted is because it looks amazing all on its own. When Venetian plaster is applied to walls the finish looks like marble or stone. It`s truly amazing what is achievable by using the Venetian plaster and trendy bathrooms or kitchens can benefit by this type of technique. Modern interiors relish the Venetian plaster and if you are trying to create a contemporary look in your bathroom or kitchen the plaster will provide the perfect finish. Instead of having to use tiles on the walls you could opt for plaster instead. This delightful decorating technique is ideal in wetrooms and kitchen splashbacks will look amazing when the Venetian plaster is used. Don`t be fooled into thinking this type of decorative technique is new and unreliable because it has been around for centuries. You tend to think of plaster as being a base for paint but Venetian plaster makes painted surfaces look very boring.
